At Sun Valley, we never stop moving forward. That’s why we take the slow months as a chance to get ahead for the next season. Winter is the ideal time to put our creativity to work and design a landscape you will love.
Each project is unique and that means that they each have a different timeline. Planning landscape designs now gives us more time to schedule projects sooner. In December – January our sales consults tend to be scheduled about two weeks out, but as things get busier, it could be six to eight weeks before we can meet with you!
By taking care of these projects now, you can spend your summer enjoying your new outdoor space instead of eagerly awaiting construction completion.
Sun Valley’s Unique Design Process
Our design process begins by connecting with our clients and ensuring we understand their needs, dreams, and vision for their landscape. No matter what kind of aesthetic our clients are going for, we match one of our design professionals who fit their specifications and help to create the outdoor space of their dreams.
We even go a step further as to send over a bio of their designated designer, followed up by a consultation to ensure that our designers and our clients are on the same page. The consultation is an opportunity for us to discuss the direction and outcome of the project. This is when those Pinterest idea boards can come in handy!
After our designers have finished a consultation, we then provide 3-D renderings and create a master plan. This way, our clients can visualize exactly what their new space will look like.

Our Production Process
Once you’ve approved your landscape design, our Production Manager will contact you to schedule your project! We begin purchasing materials and coordinate deliveries and staging them at our supply yard for their arrival on your start date.
Prior to our arrival, our crews are prepped with all the information on your unique project. We set out signage on your property so that the neighbors know to “pardon our dust” while we are hard at work. We start flagging and marking off areas that will be disrupted in preparation for a beautiful masterpiece.
After your project is officially installed we complete a final walk thru with you to ensure that you’re completely happy with the results! (We know you will be – but we love to hear it!)
