08 Jul New Faces Around OFS
Those of you who have enjoyed working with us in the past may have noticed some changes occurring here at Omaha Friendly. We just wanted to take this opportunity to introduce, or reintroduce our employees to you.
Dennis Secora is now our landscaping foreman. Dennis previously had experience running his own company and has proven to be a valuable asset to us. He specializes in doing grading work; however, his experience in all aspects of landscaping spans nearly two decades.
Jeff Beck has established our new sod department and can handle anything from a small lawn repair to a renovation of an entire property. He also has experience running his own small business for nearly two decades and brings invaluable knowledge with him. He specializes in both residential and commercial properties– from preparing the site for sod to installing the sod properly.
Ashly Hovatter has recently taken over the role of business manager and community relations. She previously ran her own business coordinating events for multiple clients. Her skill at multi-tasking has proven to be a valuable asset in making sure the flow of operations is running smoothly.
Kyle Sledge has been an employee of Omaha Friendly for nearly a decade and has moved into the role of General Manager of Operations. Some current clients know Kyle as our mowing foreman. Kyle no longer mows– he now manages the day-to-day operations. This involves managing all crews, as well as providing timely estimates for current and future clients.
We also have a few college students working with us this summer. Afterall, the best education occurs through experience. Mitch Decker attends Iowa Western’s agriculture department and is getting credit for helping out this summer. Eric Adler, Zach Adler, and Anthony Meyers all attend the University of Nebraska at Lincoln. Adam Kalin worked as our lawncare foreman last year, and currently helps in the office as he is getting his Masters as Creighton University.
Overall we are lucky to have the staff we enjoy at Omaha Friendly Services. We all look forward to “making your life easier” in the future.
